Police said they seized 350 wax folds of heroin, paraphernalia and approximately four grams of crack-cocaine after investigating a suspicious vehicle with two occupants in the area of the Brick Motor Inn. on Route 70 on Thursday, according to Sgt. Jim Kelly, a police department spokesman.
Brick police arrested George Murray Sr., 53, of Brick and Christoph J. Polperio, 41, of Toms River, Kelly said on Monday.
Murray was charged with possession of heroin and crack, possession of heroin and crack with the intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, failure to turn a controlled dangerous substance over to police, and obstruction of justice, Kelly said. Murray was being held at the Ocean County Jail.
Polperio was charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia, as well as traffic summonses, Kelly said. Polperio was released pending a future court date.
